Modi said 'Operation Sindoor on the playground too'Naqvi gave a counter-reply

The Asia Cup has come to an end amidst extreme drama and heat. India won the title by defeating arch-rivals Pakistan by 5 wickets and 2 balls in a thrilling final in Dubai. However, even after the end, the tension between India and Pakistan does not seem to have ended.
Narendra Modi compared India’s Asia Cup victory to India’s Operation Sindoor against Pakistan last May. PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, who is also Pakistan’s Home Minister, was quick to respond to the Indian Prime Minister’s remarks, saying there is no way to hide the loss of a war by winning a game.

Congratulations to our cricketers.” PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, who is also Pakistan’s Home Minister, was quick to respond to the Indian Prime Minister’s remarks, saying there is no way to hide the loss of a war by winning a game.
Retweeting, he wrote, “If war is your measure of pride, then history has already recorded your shameful defeat at the hands of Pakistan. No cricket match can change that truth. Bringing war into the game only exposes frustration and tarnishes the very spirit of the game.”
India launched an attack on Pakistan in May after gunmen attacked a checkpoint in Pahalgam, Indian-administered Kashmir, in April. The two countries engaged in a four-day military clash when the two sides launched a counterattack.
The two countries then stopped the attacks with the mediation of US President Donald Trump. Since then, both countries have been claiming victory in the war, which has now reached the playing field
